I know what your thinking…… Not another review on the Emma Hardie Cleansing balm, but i just had to review it!

I love a good cleansing balm, I have read so many review on this product and i have had it on my wish list for so long! The other week i caved in and make a cheeky purchase. I bought it from for £34.00 for 100ml tub. (it is on offer at the moment at £28.90) This product isn’t cheap, but what you get out of it is totally worth the money. I would much rather have expensive skincare products than make up. If you have great skin you can get away with wearing anything on your face (drugstore or high end make up).

The Cleanser has a a list of great natural products in. Moringa seed extract, wild sea fennel and vitamin E – These ingredients help to balance skin, and minimize the appearance of pores (i am not sure i have seen my pores minimize bit it defiantly balances out skin). Orange, Neroli & mandarin extracts to rejuvenate and revitalize skin. Jasmin, Cederwood & rose re-hydrate and recondition dry/ dull skin.

The 100ml tub is fairly bulky, i think it looks great on my bathroom shelf but probably not ideal for traveling – i would decant it to a smaller tub.

It has a fresh slightly floral fragrance – i guess that comes from the jasmin, ceaderwood and rose. The texture is quite oily but it is amazing at removing eye make up and general make up, Do not be put of but the oily word…. i have oily skin but i would recommend this product for oily and acne skins as it is not a mineral oil. I use around a 10p size amount for my whole face and neck, it glides over skin so easily. I recently bought 2  flannels from Tesco they were £1 each which i thought was a bargain, so i use these in warm water to remove the cleanser and make up.

Since using the Emma Hardie cleanser i have noticed a  difference in the appearance and feel of my skin, It seems to be more balanced, Smoother and almost seems more plump. The brightness and colour has come back to my skin too. This will be from massaging the cleanser in for a good 30 seconds and removing it with the flannel which both stimulate circulation. Now i have this cleanser i love coming home from work and treating my skin to a good cleanse. I would recommend this cleanser for all skin types – YES even acne skin!

If you have tried this cleanser, let me know what you thought, I always love to read comments.
