Estee Lauder DayWear Sheer Tint Release

Firstly i must apologize… i have been a naughty blogger. I Went on holiday and did not schedule and blog posts while i was gone…. so sorry about that!

But im BACK!!!

So before i went away i was wondering what foundation/tinted moisturizer i could take away with me. I don’t tend to like full coverage foundations (i find they feel too ‘cloggy’ in hot weather) I was Watching one of Tanya Burrs videos and saw she was using the Estee Lauder Daywear Sheer Tint Release. So i trotted off to my local John Lewis store and purchased a tube.

I tried this before i went on holiday as i couldn’t wait to open it and give it a go. The first thing i thought when i tried this is WOW this smells good! The fragrance is a fresh cucumber smell which makes me feel refreshed and soothed.

When i squeezed the tube i could not see how this would work on my skin. It appeared to be a grey blob of product with a slightly grainy texture, but not fazed by this,  I applied onto my face and worked it in with ease! I then found it tinted my skin and made it appear more tanned than usual and glowing – in a good way,  not shiny and greasy.

I waited for a few minuets and re applied for more coverage.

This product was my best friend on holiday. My skin felt smooth, clean and smelling lovely. I will defiantly be re purchasing this as a holiday product, and maybe even a summer product. Its great for most skin tones and skin types – if you are very oily i would probably use the Nars matte tinted moisturizer and not the Estee Lauder. As i have a slightly oily skin so i also used some translucent powder on my t-zone to prevent oil build up.

If you want to give this product a try. It is around £37 for a 50ml tube (quite pricey but will last for ages)

Hope you enjoyed reading my post.
