#Sheffieldbbloggers Meet up | Part 1

Last weekend i attended the much awaited #SheffieldBbloggers meet up. The meet up was taken place in a lovely venue in the center of Sheffield at a gorgeous Indian restaurant called Maveli. It was really easy to find, right near tram stops, car parks, and a boots too! The staff were so nice and welcoming and the food….it was on another level. My favorite being the potatoes type looking dish. (I wish i knew what it was called).

There was some really good workshops that attended, Lush bath bomb making & Kim from Boudoir Beauty Salon doing HD Brow demos. Kim also taught a few of us how to thread – much to the boyfriends dismay. he bairly has any hair left on his body, oops.

At the Lush workshop we were treated to making Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb. it was really interesting watching the the process of making them. We mixed two powders together (white & blue) once mixed they went a gorgeous baby blue which we then pressed into the mold they provided. We were able to take these home with us. I have not yet used mine but i have no doubt it will make my bathroom smell amazing.

There was also Jan from the charity Look Good Feel Better – It is a great charity with a group of volunteers going to give make up and skincare tips to ladies who are going through or had had cancer. Money from the raffle went the charity (£250.00) there were some amazing prizes up for grabs, Perfumes, Nail polish (I won), Vivienne Westwood rings, lots more too!

I got to catch up with other beauty bloggers which was really nice. The atmosphere of the event was so chilled out. I think because it is not my first meet up i wasn’t as nervous as the #northernbloggemeetup. The day was a huge success and it was due to the hard work of Georgina, Ashleigh & Heather.
