Skincare & Beauty Blog

(Sorry for the poor Image)

The Body shop are a brand that have been on the go for years! Its a well trusted company promising cruelty free products and decent skincare at a really affordable price. I have been buying their products for so many years i kind of expect them to be good!

I was after a couple of items in early January, so i placed an order with a few added bits that i could not resist!

Pomegranate Softening Cream Cleanser Is from their first signs of aging range which is aimed at i guess an older age group than myself but if someone is offering anti aging them i’m happy with that. I was after an affordable cleanser that i could use everyday. I love my Oskia Renaissance cleanser but it isn’t the cheapest (its not the most expensive either) so i now try to keep this for facial evenings where i’m giving my face the ultimate boost an going all out with serums, scrubs and masks!

While i was on the cleanser page of the site i stumbled across the Chamomile Silky cleansing oil, Its part of their beauty gem range which i  think is their most rated products? Could be wrong on that one. However i have seen a load of people say they love it – Yep it went in the shopping basket!

I am one of those people who always use a hand cream. I have gone through so many post and tubes of the stuff I like to have a hand cream on my desk at work and i probably apply it a couple of times a day. My hands get really dry for walking the dog, so I saw The Almond Hand & nail butter and gave it a shot. It comes in at 100ml tub and a little goes a long way.

I also bought Nutriganics Day Cream mainly because i could get hold of my usual La Roche Posey Tolourine Fluid so I was looking for an alternative. This is unfortunately not as light weight as the LRP but it is a lovely cream never the less.

All the products will be getting full reviews very soon, The products here were bought in January so i have a good few weeks testing them now.
