REVIEW | CLARINS RADIANCE PLUS GOLDEN GLOW BOOSTER

Clarins have brought something pretty unique to the beauty game, Last year they released their Clarins Self Tanning Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster for the Face which I personally never tried out but herd great things. This year brings the release on the Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster for the Body

This tiny 30ml bottle is basically a tailor made tanner. It may seem like a small bottle but a little goes a long way. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and the bottle looks like new. Once you unscrew the lid, there is a dropper style nib which does not allow the product to escape until you press the bottom of the bottle to release the product which makes it very user friendly.

So how does it work? The bottle contains a high concentrate of odourless tanner, now i have to disagree with this slightly. It is odourless when you apply it to the skin however in the morning i can smell a very slight ‘biscuit’ scent on my skin, however it’s not as over powering as some tans.

The Made to measure drops can be mixed with lots of different body moisturisers such as creams, gels, oils and serums so whatever you use to moisturise your skin just pop a few drops of the glow booster into the palm of your hand and mix together. The recommendation from clarins is to apply 4-6 drops per limp per day until you reach your desired colour then maintain with 2 drops per limb per day to maintain that colour. I am a lazy body lotion user so i have been applying this maybe 2-3 times per week using 6 drops of booster per limp and i have found this to be the best method for me, but i would just suggest to go light at first and build up is to a warm tan! As with most tans you need to make sure you wash your hands after using the product, last night i forgot and today I am paying the price of two toned fingers!!!

The tan its self is a really nice subtle golden brown, there is nothing orangy about it at all. I will be putting this to use a lot over spring summer this year. Just a side note, I know Clarins also have a Self Tanning Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster for the Face but I used my body version alongside my usual night facial moisturiser and it worked perfectly, I only used 3 drops on my face because i was a little unsure if i would look like David Dickinson when i woke up.
