The time has come where i need to moisturize and tan my pins… I grabbed my St Tropez Express tanning mousse last week to give myself a little glow and turned a delightful shade of green, Yup it had gone off.
How annoying. I went on the search for something new to try and came across this St Tropez Gradual tanning lotion  which had plenty of rave reviews so I decided i should give it a try.

The lotion comes in two shades light/medium & Medium/Dark, I opted for the medium/dark version as i am a little lazy when it comes to moisturising my body so my thought was that if i got the darker one i could apply a couple of times per week, not everyday. My theory was correct 🙂 I have been using this once or twice per week and it gives me a really natural, non orangy tan. Lots of people mentioned in their reviews that it didn’t smell of the usual biscuit smell and they were not telling porky at all Its quite highly perfumed which at first i found a little over powering however it didn’t put me off & now i have got to quite like the floral scent.  I tend to apply it in the evening before bed, waking up with a golden non streaky glow. It lasts really well on my skin i found i needed to re apple around 5 days just to top up the colour ( Dryer skin types may want to moisturize with a ‘normal’ moisturiser in-between applications to prevent patchiness.)

I would recommend you exfoliate your feet, ankles, knees and elbows as you would with a conventional tan to ensure a natural look.

At £14.30 for a 200ml bottle its not the cheapest gradual tanner but it is one i would certainly recommend. I am definitely going to be repurchasing. Have you tried it?
