REVIEW | CLARINS INSTANT CONCEALER

(Sorry for the dirty sponge)

Clarins Instant Concealer (£21.50)* – If you are looking for an all round concealer then this is your baby! It is basically sleep in a tube, It has a medium build able coverage that is water based meaning the concealer doesn’t settle into fine lines as much as others. It contains caffeine extract which helps with puffiness and general tiredness around your eyes.

The formula contains Aloe vera which help soften the eye area and also contains Clarins light optimising complex which makes the area radiant without illuminating it causing white panda eyes.

I love this concealer, i feel it makes my skin look bright and flawless which i have never achieved with any other concealer before. I tend to use it with my Nanshy Marvel 4 in 1 make up blending sponge which i really, really like too. I spray the sponge with either water or a facial toning spray and dab my concealer into the corners of my eyes and onto any blemishes. I have found it lasts really well on my slightly oily skin which is a bonus because most concealers don’t last two minutes before disappearing from my face!

I have it in Shade 02 which is perfect for me, unfortunately they only come in 3 shades the darkest only being suitable for medium skin tones which is a shame for darker skin tones. It comes in a 15ml tube which at first I thought it was ridiculous for the price but i have found a little goes a really long way. I do think it is a little pricy for a concealer but if you can afford it, give this concealer a try, its bloody brilliant!
