Skincare & Beauty Blog

I work in a really small office so to be honest I could go barefaced but I do try to make a small effort with my make up, hair & clothing. I have been using pretty much the same make up products for the past couple of weeks purely for their durability and ease of application.

I have been loving Too Faced Born this way foundation since it launched! It a great base for combination skin and I would recommend this any day. A great coverage which is buildable and it last all day on my skin.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder has been a brilliant buy for me. I use Dim Light for my setting powder, Incandescent powder as a little highlight on my cheek bones, nose & lip & Radiant Light as a bronzer. I like all 3 for these shades in the palette so non are getting wasted like you sometimes find with other face palettes.
Rimmel Blush in Santa Rose is a gorgeous natural rose flush colour. Its subtle which is perfect for this time of year but equally i can see me using this in future seasons to come.(It is also super cheap!)
For concealing / highlighting i have been using the L’oreal Lumi Magique for light coverage under the eyes.

I always use my Soap & Glory Archery to fill in my brows. The fine nib is great for precision and making the brows look natural. I use the shade for Blondes, it’s not orangey in the slightest.
This particular day I only wore Mascara which happens quite often simply because of time. I used my Benefit Roller Lash mascara which is good but I’m not sure I would buy it again simply because after trying the Maybelline Sensational mascara I think the drugstore mascara wins over the Benefit!

Bite Beauty’s Agave Lip Mask has been mentioned a lot recently on my blog but I have just been wearing this on my lips for added moisture and a slight sheen. If I’m feeling like something a little more on the lips I have been using Clinique Colour Pop in Nude Pop.

What do you tend to wear for work?
