Skincare & Beauty Blog

Since all of my higher end cleansers ran out I have been trying out more afordable cleansers, I think cleansers are something you can save your money on. There are some great affordable cleansers that do a really decent job. Over the past couple of weeks I have been using Superfacialist by Una Brennan Rose Hydrating Cleanser. The Rose Hydrating creamy cleanser has a similar constancy as the Liz Earl Cleanse & Polish which I love to use.  Containing Cocoa & Shea butter its lovely and nourishing for the skin without feeling too rich. It does a pretty good job at removing make up apart from Mascara (I am using a Maybelline that is a toughie to remove) So I tend to use eye make up prior to cleansing. Getting a good dollop I massage it into the skin then give my skin a quick wiz over with my amazing Magnitone facial brush, if you have not tried one of these brushes  you must, its such a good tool.
Back to the cleanser, The thick formula feels lovely to massage and get the juices flowing in the skin. It is scented with Rose, obviously which is not my favourite smell but it’s not too unpleasant. I often use this in the evening just to hydrate my skin after a long day! For £7.99 for 150ml tube you cannot go wrong! Just make sure you use a flannel to remove the product for the best results!

Have you tried any good affordable cleansers?
