Skincare & Beauty Blog

While I was in Boots last week I noticed the Look Good Feel Better range of make up brushes which I thought looked to be a really good quality. I chose two style brushes one being the Blush Brush the other being the Angled Contour Brush.

Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is the only worldwide charity providing practical support for women and teenagers struggling with the visible side effects of cancer treatment. For over 20 years this programme has helped people face cancer with confidence & by purchasing this product you will enable LGFB to extend its free skincare and make-up workshops across the UK. These brushes are such amazing quality, Each precision cut brush head has been handmade using super soft taklon bristles; making them allergy free, cruelty free & suitable for sensitive skin.

The Blusher Brush is a lovely rounded head but probably a little big, I prefer to use this as my all over face powder brush. I use it with my Hourglass Dim Light powder. I actually bought this to replace my Mac 129 brush because that bloody brush sheds hair quicker than my dog! Really pleased with the performance of the brush, It just feels really luxurious to use on my skin.

The Angled Contour Brush is a really handy brush if you are new to contouring, or light a more precise application. I am not the biggest contour-er however I recently bought the Smashbox Contour Kit to try out and have found this brush to be very handy! The brush head is pretty dense so picks up product really well and blends the product into the skin effortlessly.

If you are heading out to buy some make up brushes I would highly recommend you try these, They are really good quality brushes & you are also helping a lovely charity too.
