Primers are something I tend to not use because every single one I have tried previously have been absolutely useless. Laura Mercier, Pixi, Rimmel, non of them made any difference to my makeup longevity. When I bought Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Primer I was a little skeptical about how it would perform.

Once my moisturiser has settled into the skin I apply the Cream / Gel like formula to the whole of my face and slightly down my neck to create the perfect base for my foundation. What I really like about the formula is that it does not have that silicone feel when on the skin it just feels like a normal cream product. The primer has pore shrink technology which is obviously supposed to reduce the look of pores on the face however personally I don’t think this primer made a huge difference with the viability of pores round my nose.

I have been using this every day for about a week now and I have seen a noticeable difference in the wear on my slightly oily skin, controlling the shine while being hydrating with the use of Vitamin E. It is fragrance free too so this would be great for sensitive skin. I have hourly enjoyed using this so far & I think this is the best £10 I have spent In Boots for quite some time!

If you find your makeup melts off your face give this a try and let me know how you get on… It has worked wonders on my make up!
