NUDE & MAUVE LIPSTICK SWATCHES

In the past few years it seems I have become a little into my nude & mauve lipsticks. I have now built up quite a collection of these shades, having rummaged through my handbag and make up bag to gather them all together, I thought i would show you a little swatching session.

Rosie Huntington Whitley For Autograph Lipstick in Nude Blush This is a fairly new purchase. I was really keen to try out Some Rosie’s range as I just love her, And the packaging & colours that she has released are really subtle and chic which is just what I like. There were 3 or 4 nudy/ pinky shades I could of bought but this one was the nudest nude I could find! It is a matte finish but not the type when you feel like your lips are as dry as the desert, which gives it a slightly longer lasting effect. What I love About the RHW range is the packaging – I think they have done an amazing job. The lipstick lid is slightly weighted & it has a magnet to keep it on the lipstick. Big thumbs up for this range. I like to pop a little lip balm on before I apply this lipstick.

Chanel Coco Rouge Lipstick In Adrienne is probably the most wearable lipstick I have bought.  With it being a slightly glossy finish it obviously isn’t going to last on the lips for hours & hours but it is super easy to apply while on the go. I have been keeping this in my handbag for day or night looks. It is not the cheapest lipstick in the world but it is a lovely formula and the packaging is obviously very appealing too.

L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick In Julianne’s Nude Is a pretty old lipstick of mine and a recent find when I was sorting out some of my clutter the other day. Its a pinky nude lipstick that looks very pretty on the lips. It is comfortable to wear on the lips with the help of a little lip balm. It is only around £9 so an absolute bargain. The shade is very wearable and easy to apply while on the go!

MAC Matte Lipstick In  Mehr Is a really popular lipstick with bloggers and works really well with Soar Lipliner. I love wearing this when out and about in the evenings as it has really good staying power. It is very matte so a little tip I like to do is to scrub my lips with a lip scrub or use my super soft tooth brush to exfoliate the lips before applying a little lip balm , Leave the balm on for an hour or so then remove and apply the lipstick.

Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm In Sultry This is quite similar to the MAC Mehr but slightly deeper, Although it is a matte product it is really comfortable on the lips. The wear time is not quite as long for this Revlon Balm due to the fact of it being slightly more hydrating. Its really easy to apply on the lips, The stick twists up as you get through the product. For only around £8 Its a great option if you don’t fancy spending £15+ on a Mehr lipstick.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick In Patina This lipstick 100% lives up to it’s name! I applied this the other day at 9am and it was still visible on my lips at 6pm & I had eaten toast for my lunch! Such a good lipstick but it does dry the lips out quite a bit. I like to apply the liquid to the bottom lip then smush my lips together and finish off the cupids bow with the leftover product on the doe foot applicator.

Clearly these are my favorite lip colours, what are yours?
