Skincare & Beauty Blog

While browsing the M&S Beauty department (Have you been to a store recently, they have some brilliant brands) I noticed they had a fairly well stocked range of Pixi Skin care products & Makeup items. Pix is a brand I have recommended to lots of friends and family who are seeking a glowing skin. I direct them straight toward the Pixi Glow Tonic, each person has been thoroughly happy with my recommendation so far.

Pixi recently launched a variety of products that really appealed to me, I have been trailing them out for some weeks now and feel I should share my thought with you…

Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser (£18)

This is an active cleanser that is powerful but in a non stripping or a harsh way. This is now a firm favorite in my skincare routine. I use it In the mornings & also In the evenings as a second cleanse. It lifts out impurities & leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean & glowing. The 5% glycolic acid gently exfoliates the face, unveiling a healthy looking skin that is well prepped for the rest of your skin care. The Mud in the cleanser deep cleans pores while hyaluronic acid plays a part in keeping skin hydrated.

In all honesty I have been favouring this cleanser to My Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel & Liz Earl Cleanse & polish. It is suitable on all skin types however you might want to give it a miss if you are prone to sensitivity, The Gylcolic acid might irritate this skin.

I apply this to dry skin and massage around the face, sometimes adding a smidgen of water to my fingertips to help glide the product around my face, I skin the eye area as the glycol ic can irritate the more delicate skin around the eyes. I use a warm flannel to remove the product & grime.

For £18 this is a fantastic product that is also cruelty free. Available at M&S although not in stock online at the moment & Also Look Fantastic

Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist (£18)

A super lightweight mist that sprays a soft & even amount of product onto the skin giving instant hydration with the help of Hyaluronic acid in the formula. A blend of black oat, provitamin A, and linoleic acid makes this rejuvenator the perfect first layer of moisture before serums & makeup.

I like to use this is the mornings, evenings & often during the day to give my skin a little ‘pick me up’ Although this is a lovely product that I really enjoy using, It is not an essential Item in a skincare routing but if you can afford any additional products to add this is a great spritz to try.

Have you tried any Pixi Skincare products? What should I try next?
