Skincare & Beauty Blog

This month seems to have been a month of rediscoveries, I have been rummaging through my makeup stash and getting into some old products that have been long forgotten about!

Too Face Born This Way Foundation :
It started with the Too Faced Born This way Foundation, Possibly my favorite foundation. I have been through one pot already and half way through my second. I have the shade Nude however I think the tone might be a little off so I have ordered a Vanilla to mix together. I love the finish of the foundation its perfect for my skin type, and covers really well. I am using this over all my other bases at the moment.

MAC Naked Lunch Eyeshadow :
A gorgeous frosted pinky beige shade that is really easy to blend, I like to use my Crown blending brush and whack this all over my lids for a simple every day look.

MAC Twisted Kajal Liner in Groundbreaker.
I swear since I have been watching Alex Steinner snapchats I have spent a FORTUNE on makeup and skincare. Alex loves Mac Teddy eyeliner so off I trotted to the shop to buy one, I came out with about 3 other products one being Ground breaker Eyeliner. I am truly obsessed with this at the moment, I like it in the outer corners of my eyes and use my ring smudge the top lash line.

Merumaya Mud Marvels Mask :
I went through a couple of weeks where my skin was great then all of a sudden I have developed a couple of under the skin pimples which have been really irritating me. To try to get rid of them I have been using this Mud mask from Merumaya. I love Merumaya as a brand, I have been using their products since starting my blog but I would say this is my favorite product that I have tried from them. I love a good deep cleaning mask. This contained Charcoal for deep cleaning, The Natural AHA’s help remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin leaving it looking clearer & brighter. I like to apply this a couple of times per week to try to keep my skin in check.

Pai Rosehip oil :
The only beauty product that is a recent purchase. After seeing Julia from Stylonylon raving about this oil I had to give it a try. Using a blend of the fruit hip oil, which is rich in trans-retinoic acids, this multi-use product will encourage the natural healing process of the epidermis. As mentioned previously this can be used for lots of skin concerns such as scarring, dullness, stretch marks, and blemishes. I like to use it after cleansing and acid toner, using about 6 drops for my face and neck or if I want to mix with a serum or moisturiser I tend to use just 2/3 drops.

What have you been loving lately?
