ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER TANNING PRODUCT

It seems I have gone from not wearing fake tan at all, to applying it all the time. I have tested my fair share of tans, Some have been good, some bad, and some awful. My idea of a great tan is something that is really quick to apply with minimal drying time and no smell which have been hard to find to be honest.

Earlier this year everyone raved about the Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Oil, which I liked for the first few times I used it. Then one evening I applied it before popping to a friends house, I got warm and I started to smell like biscuits, not great is it! So that got passed onto a friend.

Liza Prideaux is a beautiful beauty blogger who I really admire in the blogging world. We started our blogs around the same time and she has shot to success with her gorgeous photography and honest reviews. She has been A huge fan of Cocoa Brown 1Hr tanning mousse for quite some time and I was never a avid tanner I never tried her recommendation. I saw the mousse on offer in my local Coop for only £4.99, thought of Liza instantly so I thought I would give it a try. To be honest I thought It might be just like all the other tanning mousse’s I have tried but this has really, really impressed me.

The Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tanning Mousse is super smooth in consistency which feels nice to apply to the skin. It dries really, really quickly  without leaving you sticky so I found you have to work fairly speedy with the mitt . If you are in a rush and just want to add slight colour then you can wash the tan after 1 hour, 2 hours for a slightly deeper tan, and 3 hours for a lovely natural golden tan. I actually applied this in the evening before bed and slept in the tan. According to Cocoa Brown the tan will stop developing after 3 hours  so there is not need to worry about waking up like Ross from friends, You know the spray tan booth episode… (have a watch here is you have not seen it!) When I woke up the next morning I had a lovely golden tan. I would say this is a medium tan which for my fair skin is brilliant however if you are slightly darker or prefer a deeper tan I believe they have the 1 hour tanning mousse in Dark now. I also looked at my white bed sheet and it was stain free. Amazing!

I would say that the biggest bonus for me is the smell of the product. Cocoa Brown have used their signature scent of Tahitian Gardenia which does such a good job of masking that usual fake tan pong. The tan is lasts between 5-7 days however mine never lasts as long because I use a dry body brush.

I think for a complete bargain price of £7.99 (£4.99 on offer) it is a brilliant product which I would highly recommend to friends and family.
