ALBUS & FLORA MULTI ACTIVE TINTED LIP BALM

I was introduced to Albus & flora the other week at a blogger event in Sheffield. I was chatting to the founder of the brand and she told us her story of how she came to create the brand. The brand was created high up in the mountains while Rachel was skiing.  She has worked in the sports industry for many years helping athletes proper for the Olympics and other sporting events and decided she wanted to take her passion for skincare and make it her career. Albus & Flora balms have been formulated by Rachel & her team of chemists, It took them over 200 attempts to get the perfect formula for these balms.

I was given these two balms to try out and I can honestly say these are the nicest balms i Have used in a long time. The coral shade (nude flora) makes naturally pink lips slightly more muted in colour which I love. I have fairly pigmented lips naturally so this is the perfect shade for me. This shade has a slight sparkle to the balm which I find makes my lips look slightly fuller. It is the perfect neutral shade that is easy to apply even without a video.

The natural multi Active lip balm is a matte lip balm making it perfect for both men and women. With the balm being matte it makes a really great base for all matte lipsticks. This balm offers SPF 30 along with all of the balms in the Albus &  Flora range, which is so important especially when traveling as lips can reality get burnt & chapped in extreme heat or cold.

So what makes the Albus & Flora range so special? First of all I am really impressed with the packaging. They are made for a solid heavily weighted plastic which feels really luxurious to use & when you pop the lid back on the bullet it gives a lovely satisfying click that you tend to only get with higher quality brands. The formula has NO Petrolatum, Parabens, Mineral oil, Silicones,  Sulphates,  Propylene glycol, Phthalates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, Synthetic fragrance,  Never tested on Animals. The balm deeply nourishes the lips with the use of Alpine Rose extract, Cranberry & Raspberry Seed Oil which protects against sun damage, Seaberry, Avocado & blackcurrant seed oil to nourish and stimulate cell renewal. The hydration comes from the Jojoba, grape & sunflower oil which keeps lips looking plump,Smooth & reduces water loss.

The lip balms are a great addition to my makeup bag & for the past few weeks I have been choosing these over all of my other lipsticks & glosses.

Have you tried Albus & Flora? They are available at Albus & Flora online
