Ever since I trained as a beauty therapist I have been obsessed with Elemis. If I had to choose, I would definitely say this is one of my favourite skincare brands. The products are amazing quality, total luxury and the packaging is gorgeous too. Elemis started out as a ‘salon brand’, I have had quite a few of the treatments in spa’s and salons over the years and always come out of the treatment room feeling amazing & so relaxed.
The reason I have written this post is because of a recent trip to Titanic Spa. Its a gorgeous spa in Huddersfield that I often go too for a luxury treat with friends and family. I had the Elemis Frangipani Body Wrap which was so lovely I came away feeling like I was on cloud 9! It made me realise I had not used my favourite body products for quite a while. The problem with being a beauty blogger is you often finish a product that you love but forget to repurchase because you have so many other products to use up (im not complaining btw, I love trying new stuff!) Anyway, A while back I was watching QVC Beauty channel – Its my guilty pleasure, Don’t Judge! An amazing special Value offer was on, It was the 6 piece Elemis Face and body kit. It was such a good price (£49.92) I didn’t think twice about purchasing it. The Pro- Collagen Marine Cream (30ml) is worth £50 alone.
These two product have made it to the top of my bodycare favourite list. The Frangipani Monoi Bath & Shower Nectar (Linked similar as this is only available in the QVC set) is the best smelling shower gel I have used. I use a very small amount on my shower puff and really lather it up before covering my body and rinsing it off. After using this, the upstairs of my house smells like a Elemis Spa, Gorgeous. I believe this is exclusive for this particular QVC deal however I am sure Elemis will launch it into their range soon, It is too good not to. The Frangipani scent is a really comforting one, and something that I like to use in the evening before bed. For me it instantly relaxes me and gives me a warm and cosy feeling – Sounds odd but if you have had a Elemis body treatment in a spa you will totally get where I am coming from.
After using the shower nectar I like to use the Frangipani body butter. This is a soft buttery formula that really hydrates the skin without feeling sticky. I only like to use this on my arms and chest area and use something cheaper on the bottom half of my body (A Caroline Hirons method) This again has the same warming fragrance which actually lasts all day. I actually used some this morning and I can still smell it now (It’s 4pm) which is pretty good. This is a good lotion to use in winter as it adds a boost of nourishment to the skin. The full set is such a great gift for mums, sisters grans etc. You can even buy it and split it between people for separate gifts!
I have just reordered the Elemis Frangipani Body Oil too, Can not wait to cover my body in it!
Have you tried anything from the Elemis Frangipani range?
