Having an oily yet dehydrated skin can be a pain in the ass. There are plenty of products on the market however a lot of them don’t really cut the mustard with hydration. I have a couple of products that I tend to use like the La Roche Posey Tolerine Fluid, This is great for combination skin however I was really kindly sent the new Bioderma Hydrabio Light Gel Cream moisturiser. This beauty is pretty awesome for my skin, it contains Salicylic acid and Vitamin E which helps oiliness / blemishes. The Vitamin E boosts hydration which really plumps out the fine lines too.
The Packaging is a great design, The squeeze tube has a pump dispenser which means you don’t over do it and waste product. Due to it being in a squeeze tube I am able to cut it open to get out every last drop. Being a bit of a skin care junkie you can get caught up in expensive products but this cream is a brilliant solution for dehydrated / combination / normal skin types. The cream seems to be a really great base for makeup, I have been using it daily for quite a few weeks now and I have been loving it.
There is a another product to this range which is in a tub, Bioberma Hydrabio Rich Moisturising Care. It is quite a bit richer than the squeezy tube and would be best for really dehydrated / dry skin types. I have actually given this to my mum to use as she suffers from sensitive, dry skin. I will update you on this one when she has given it a good try.
So if you are after boosting hydration during the winter give these two Bioderma products a try, They are really affordable and work wonders on the skin! They are both available from Escentual.com
