As you can imagine, being beauty blogger and beauty junkie I have tons of make up & skincare products in my draws, yup my makeup extends to 4 draws. No one needs that much makeup do they? I really must clear it out and give it away soon, Maybe it will get done over the Christmas holidays. Anyway I have gone a bit off topic so lets get back to my makeup bag. I try to keep the products I use daily in a little bag so I am not routing around in the draws every day. I have found the products in the bag really have me covered for all events.
For the past few months my foundation of choice has been Dior Forever Foundation, the foundation is really long lasting and easy to apply. I like to use my super soft Bobbi Brown Full coverage face brush (Full review here) and really buff it into the skin which literally takes seconds. This foundation fluid is really light weight which makes it perfect for my combination skin. Although this foundation is great it does’t always cover all blemishes so I have my Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer for blemishes and dark circles under my eyes. I love this concealer, I think this is my 2nd or 3rd tube. if you have not tried this out, I would recommend you go to a store and give it a try.
As you can see I just tend to focus on the base when it come to my makeup. After foundation I add warmth to my face by using my Bobbi Brown Medium bronzer. This has been a staple in my makeup bag for months now. I got it in the summer and have used it pretty much every day since. The colour is a lovely and rich giving my face a warm sun kissed look. I pair this with the Benefit Watts Up Highlighter. I had seen this on blogs for years but never fancied giving it a try but a recent ASOS 20% off offer drew me into the purchase and I am really glad I purchased it. The stick is really quite easy to use. It has a sponge on one end which I have used once but found it utterly useless to a use the stick to swipe the product on the areas I want it then use my finger to blend it into the skin making sure to soften out all the edges. Its not too in your face but you can build this highlighter up for a more dramatic look.
For eyes I keep my look really, really basic. I give my lashes a good curl. These Surratt Beauty Lash Curlers are the best I have ever used. They curl my lashes right from the root giving them a huge lift with really opens up my eyes the curl also seems to last throughout the day too. I use my favourite high street mascara which is Maybelline Lash sensational. I have gone through copious amounts of this stuff, Its only a tenner and I personally find that it works perfectly for my lashes.
So there we have it, My full face in one bag. let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you think of them.
