I know, Another skincare post but I tend to post quite a lot of products on my instaStories (Follow me here) I know not everyone uses instastories so I thought I would write it down in a post. The other day Dave & I went to Titanic spa for the evening, It was their twilight package. While I was there I decided to have a Elemis facial, I have always loved Elemis, I think I wold go as far to say it is my favourite skincare brand for a all round package… They do skincare well in my personal opinion. I use my elemis products most days, I have so many of the products I love to slap the all on my skin at night! and leave the lighter products for the daytime.
A gorgeous silky oil cleanser that not only does a brilliant job of removing makeup it also give the skin a kick up to the butt in the nourishing department. I thought I was going to find this product just ‘okey’ but I have found myself grabbing it quite a lot. You can really give your face a good pummel (or massage might have been a less aggressive way of putting it) and wake it up in the mornings or evenings. I always use a warn damp flannel to remove the cleanser, for me its just the best way. This cleanser is great for pretty must most skin types (Possibly be weary if you have acne skin, there are possibly better cleansers out there for this type) my my normal / combination skin loves the stuff!
This came in the set along with the oil cleanser, I keep them side by side and always seem to enjoy giving my face a spritz with this toner. Is it essential? no probably not but my skin does like it and I actually really like using it on holiday too. My mum has the most sensitive skin ever and even she really like this toner, Its cooling, soothing and smells really nice. My serums, oils & moisturisers sit really nicely after using it too.
I think we are going to be seeing a lot more of these hydrating lotions, They are actually pretty good. I use these after applying my cleanser, Toner, & serum I then apply this to my skin before my moisturiser, I have found I need a lot less moisturiser when I have used. If you suffer from dehydrated or dry skin then this would be a great addition to your routine. Again, not an essential, but a lovely product if you like to layer your skincare and can afford it.
This is one of my favorite products from Elemis. Its also their bestseller. It is a lovely cream for those looking to add moisture and plump out those fine lines. If you are looking to start using anti ageing creams then this one is a good place to start. Use on a regular basis for smooth, supple hydrated skin. The gel/cream formula makes it lightweight and easy to melt into the skin. I like to use this in the evenings before my facial oil.
I have used so much of this oil it has now taken pride of place on my bedside table for the last step in my skincare before going to sleep. This is a product for those who are looking to improve the radiance of their skin. The ingredients in the formula are packed with goodness for the skin. (Flax Seed oil, Broccoli Seed Oil, Cucumber Seed Oil, Macadamia Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Daikon Radish Oil, Meadowfarm Seed Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil ) I love this oil and I got my auntie to give it a go and now she is hooked too. A few drops each night and you done and dusted!
There we have it, A luxury facial in the comfort of your own home, every night!
