I have quite a lot of products in my beauty draws and after I came back from Kenya I made it my mission to live with less. I really appreciate all of the stuff I receive however I only have one face and can only use a certain amount of products. I have been reducing my skincare & makeup products and giving them to friends, family & to charity which makes me feel so much better, Who needs 12 red lipsticks anyway?…Anyway while I was sifting through all of my stuff I stumbled upon some really good products that I had just totally forgotten about.
My favourite product that I had totally forgotten about is the Becca Backlight priming Filter, I loved this last year during summer but I stopped using it for whatever reason. After applying it on my face again I shoved it into my makeup bag, I have been using it a little different through, I have just been applying it to bare skin in the areas I want to highlight like the tops of the cheek bones, cupids bow, brow bone & above the brows too. I then apply my foundation straight over the top, It gives a gorgeous glow!
Nars Dolce Vita lipstick Is one of my favourite lipsticks but if I remember rightly I stopped using it because I got sore lips (Not from the lipstick) so I just stuck to using Lanolips for a while and then completely forgot about the Nars lipstick but again this is back in the makeup bag along with my Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk.
Bondi Sands Liquid Gold was not my favourite tanning product when I first got it and I think that is why it was shoved in my cupboard. I actually used it last night and I have to say I really love the colour. The bottle says that you can apply the tan and just wear normal clothes but that just doesn’t work for me, I still find the fake tan smell a little strong and I feel a little sticky till I was it off. I think the colour is totally worth it though, Its such a natural sun kissed tan.
