Skincare & Beauty Blog

At the weekend you will most likely find me walking the dog in Bradfield village which is about a 5 minute drive from my front door. If you are ever in Sheffield it’s definitely worth a visit its beautiful and you can always stop at Our Cow Molly’s for an Ice cream too.

When I am just walking Archie i tend to not wear any makeup at all unless I am planning on heading somewhere straight after, If this is the case then I have been opting for a really simple makeup look. If you read me previous post my makeup is really all about the complexion. I like to makeup it as even as possible. I am no makeup artist so the way I apply my makeup might not be ‘correct’ but it seems to work for me. I have been using the new Nars soft Matte concealer on my under eye area and any other areas of redness or discolouration either using my finger to blend or using a buffing brush. I then use a really small amount of the It Cosmetics CC cream on the rest of my face again buffing it in with a Bobbi Brown Full coverage face brush. This duo gives a really great finish to the skin and it also provides some sun protection too, Im kinda useless at putting SPF on.

To give my face a touch of colour I have been reaching for the Bobbi Brown Blusher in Pink Truffle (similar), I use this as a bronzer & blusher combined making it perfect for a quick and easy makeup look. I have been using  this on the cheeks, forehead and also slightly down the neck too. I like to apply it with my Real Techniques Blusher brush, Its super fluffy and pretty big too.

It’s not very often I can be bothered to apply eyeshadow at the weekend so I just tend to stick to a good few coats of my favourite Maybelline Sensational lash mascara, I can’t tell you how many tube I have had of this, I have strayed but always come back to it. That’s it. It takes me approximately 3 minutes to slap it all on my face and then i’m out of the door in a flash.

What do you like to use at the weekends?
