Up until about 6 months ago, I have always been a pretty good sleeper. I tend to get up early so by the time 10pm rolls around I’m ready to hit the sack. I think things took a bit of a turn in the sleep department due to stress, It seems at 10pm my brain has a load of ideas that just cannot wait till the morning and before I know it is up googling all sorts of useless crap.

We have all been told how important sleep is for the body & mind but a bit of research actually taught me that sleep is far more important than I realised. It enables our minds to recover form the day and be cleared of waste, Helps maintain cognitive skills such as speech, memory and flexible thinking. To maintain a healthy Mind and body we need to be getting around 7-9 hours of sleep per night, at the moment I’m getting around 5-6 hours per night which isn’t great so when I opened my blogger mail the other week I was pretty happy to have been sent the new linen spray from REN. The REN & Now Sleep pillow Spray has quickly become part of my evening wind-down ritual. My evening routine tends to start around 9:30pm unless there is a really good program on TV then its a bit later. I brush my teeth and all the usual skincare application process which only takes about 5 minutes then head into my bedroom adding a few spritz of the REN linen spray onto my pillow, before hopping into bed. At this point,  start to read my book I am currently reading Sapiens which is really interesting. This usually helps me drift off into a nice deep sleep which is very much needed.

I now just need to keep it up and start relaxing more! This pillow spray is defiantly helping me out though! If you struggle to drift off to sleep I would recommend you give this a try!
