Top Five Beauty Picks

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”3030923″]

I haven’t mentioned my top 5 products for a quite some time and thought it was about time I posted an updated one for you. I have been really boring with my beauty for the last 6 months, to be honest. I’ve been trying to be a good girl and use up all my makeup I already have before buying new. During the Christmas Holidays, I took to my beauty draws and had a total clear out. It was just ridiculous the amount of stuff I had and never used. I gave a load to friends & Family and the rest I have been either selling on Depop (Check out my shop page) or sent to charity. I did rediscover some gems though.

Jo Malone Earl Grey & Cucumber Fragrance.

I have had this a few years now, I had completely forgotten about it until the ‘clear out’. Once I had given it a sniff I popped it straight into my makeup bag and I have been using it every day. Its light, fresh and clean and perfect for everyday wear and evening wear too. This and the Wood Sage & sea salt are still my favourite Jo Malone Scents. They are a little pricey but a little goes a long way and people still comment on my perfume hours after I have applied it.

Pai Rosehip Oil.

This is my go-to facial oil. If my skin is looking, let’s not beat around the bush, Shit! I always turn to this oil. If I have had a few breakouts and am now left with slight redness or irritation this oil seems to fix it. I have also taken this on holiday with me and use it on the ends of freshly washed damp hair to stop it from drying out with the sun. I am on my 2nd or 3rd bottle of this Pai Oil and I think ill be making another repurchase soon. I like to use it alongside Differin Gel and also the Institute Esthederm AHA Peel which I’m going to mention next. If you apply 2-3 drops in the evening then the skin will feel and look pretty damn amazing in the morning.

Institute Esthederm AHA Peel.

I’m not going to go on too much about this product because I have written a full review (HERE). I was sent this product quite a few months ago now and I didn’t really have any expectations but it has quickly been added to my skincare routine. I really like this concentrated serum for use in the evening giving me smooth even skin by the morning, I think its pretty fab.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream/ Fragrance-Free.

This is one of those products that is just great to have in your bag on a daily basis. I mainly use it for my lips, Applying it every morning and evening and about 3 million times during the day. I have pretty much given up wearing lipstick. Its too high maintenance for me. I just like to whack a load of this Eight-hour cream on for a super hydrating glossy lip 24/7. I have this 50ml tube and I also have a mini tube too for keeping in my coat pocket for cold wintery dog walks. I also use this cream on my nails and cuticles and super dry bits of skin I very occasionally get.

Bare Minerals Invisible Bronzer In Medium.

I have been a huge fan of the Bobbi Brown Medium Bronzer but last month I had to say goodbye to my favourite bronzer. I had totally hit pan and it eventually gave up and crumbled into a billion pieces leaving me no choice other than to bin it! I fancied giving another product a try so I bought the Bare Minerals Invisible bronzer in the shade medium. So far I have been pretty impressed with it, It gives a really lovely sunkissed glow to the skin and really warms the face up which my pale face really needs at the moment, Gosh, I need some tan on my face or just a little sun. Im seriously lacking in the Vitamin D department!

Do you have any top products this month you seem to be grabbing each week?
