How To Do Beauty On A Budget

My career has taken a different path now but I will always have a passion for beauty, Its what I’m trained to do. I have to spend hundreds of pound on products over the years, Tested numerous luxury brands and I definitely have my favourite products that are on the pricey side, however, There are always products that I keep in my beauty stash and use regularly that are cheap as chips (Depending on where you get your chips from I guess). I have a little selection that you really must check out if you don’t want to pay through the roof for your beauty…

Avon Skin So Soft Dry Body Oil (£2.50. 100ml)

I have used this for years. It smells a little bit like your nanna but I really love the product and actually, there is something a little comforting about the scent for me. Its super quick to apply to the whole body and as it says in the title, it’s dry so no icky, oily feeling. Simply spray, Rub and go. It’s Avon’s bestselling products I think there is 5 bottles are sold every minute or something crazy like that & for great reason. I found it particularly helpful when on holiday, After showering spray the oil all over and the mosquitos bites are a thing of the past, It honestly works too.

Una Brennan Superfacialist Vitamin C+ Cleansing Oil (£10.99. 200ml)

I am a huge fan of the Elemis nourishing cleansing oil but at £23 the price is the Superfacialist cleansing oil. Again this is another product I have used for a few years It is fantastic at removing makeup and cleansing this skin fast. A little goes a really long way, I have had my bottle for about 18 months and there is still a few dregs left in the bottle.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution (£6.50 )

I LOVE THIS MASK! It’s so quick and easy to use. I use the pipette and apply the product directly onto my skin and rub it all over leaving a nice thin layer. one thing to mention is the colour of the product, Its bright red in the bottle & it applies a strong pink colour, don’t be scared It is absolutely fine and will not stain your skin at all. Once it has been on for 10 minutes remove with a damp flannel & you are good to go with the rest of your routine. My skin has felt really lovely after each use, It looks brighter, softer and more hydrated which is all I can ask for from a product.

There are so many products available on the market, It’s not always about having the most expensive hyped up product, If you find something that works for you, use it, Save those pennies!
