Since I found the It Cosmetics CC cream (Full review here) there has been little roof for movement in the foundation department. Every other foundation I own has been either given away or sold because The It Cosmetics CC Cream is everything I need in a foundation really, apart from Armani Power Fabric foundation which sticks to your face like glue for those nights out of weddings/events where I know I need extra long wear.
All this being said, When I was sent the new Peach Perfect Too Faced Foundation I went straight in my daily makeup bag and I have been using it pretty much daily since. This is not to say it is going to replace my beloved CC cream but it s a great addition to use on days I want something a little more matte.
So who is this for? I would say its best for oily skin types. The oil free formula is actually pretty long lasting & i personally think it looks great on the skin, the foundation is infused with peach and sweet fig cream which are known for their antioxidant & vitamin properties keeping skin looking fresh and feeling hydrated. I would say if you have dry patches then you will possibly find this may cling to those areas. It claims a 14 hour photo-ready wear but if i’m honest I usually take my makeup off as soon as I get home from work so I have never gone past 10 hours but let me tell you, Its still on my face after all that time. Impressive isn’t it.
The Transfer free foundation has a medium coverage that is easily build able using either a damp makeup sponge, fingers or my preferred choice the Bobbi Brown Full coverage face brush (If you are after a foundation brush you should really buy this, It’s AMAZING) As I mentioned, I have been wearing this every day for a week or two and I have found it to be really comfortable to wear even though its matte, Guess what, It actually stays matte too without looking cakey, even on the T-zone where a lot of foundations like to slide off my face, this stayed put, Halalujia.
The pictures above are a few hours after application, See, still matte. My skin has been a little problematic but this foundation manages to cover and skin pigmentation, blemishes leaving it fairly even, I’m a fan. If you were not already swayed Too faced are cruelty free and Vegan friendly.
