Foreo Luna 2 Review

Skincare. I just love it. Its where I feel like 99% of my spending budget goes, having said that, I have been very frugal the past 6 months and not really purchased much beauty. Yay me! One thing that hasn’t changed is my love of a great cleansing routine. I personally think cleansing this one of the most important parts of your skincare routine and It lays the foundation for the rest of your regime. What is the point in buying an eighty quid (£80+) Serum if you are layering it onto dirty skin? You are just wasting your money! Cleansers are something I like to switch up from time to time. I have the standard favourites that I always seem to return to like Liz Earl Cleanse & Polish, Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel & La Roche Posey Cleansing Milk. Recently I have been using the Dr Sam Bunting Flawless Cleanser which I love, I’m actually going to write a full review of it because I think it needs more press.

So If you cleanse your skin with a good cleanser do you really need a cleansing tool to boost performance? Well, I wouldn’t say the Foreo Luna 2 Cleansing devise is a necessity but it is a great piece of kit to have. The Foreo Luna 2 is a sonic pulsation silicone cleansing & anti Ageing device which can be used morning and/or evening to reveal brighter, Healthy skin. Foreo comes in 4 different models, with cleansing brushes tailored to specific skin types, I have the one for Combination skin. The design of the 100% waterproof device is really user-friendly offering a different style head for all of the different skin needs.

The Luna gentle pulsates on the skin, gentle exfoliating away dead skin cells, dirt and excess oil. What is left is beautifully clean, tighter skin that is prepared for the other steps in your skincare routine. The Luna 2 is so easy to use, I tend to apply my cleanser while I am in the shower (obviously I leave my head out of the water) switch on the Luna 2 and whizz over my entire face in about 2 minutes , I pay a little more attention to my nose and chin area as I feel like these are the most ‘clogged’. I have been using it for a good few months now and I think its fab. A full charge lasts for 450 uses, Madness I know! Once you have used it I rinse My Foreo under the water and Whalah, done & dusted. That is the beauty about this Device above most others, It is super hygienic so there is little chance of spreading bacteria if washed correctly after each use. The Foreo Luna 2 is one of those products that you can notice a difference after its first use I love it. What I don’t love is the £169 price tag, Its pricey isn’t it. Although this was gifted to me I would certainly look at buying one with my hard earned cash. I personally think it’s a great investment however if you don’t fancy purchasing it without trying it first Foreo offer the Luna Play, A mini size of the Luna 2, It arrives fully charged and lasts around a month before the battery dies and you dispose of it (no charger). The Luna Play is only £29 which I think t a decent price and well worth giving it a try before investing in the Foreo Luna 2.

Have you ever used a sonic Cleansing tool? How did you get on with them?
