Could this mask have any more social presence? My guess is no. The Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Mask…
I do love a good face mask. There is a mask to suit every skin concern and skin type and I am into masking in a big way. Multi masking, Single masking, sheet masking, you nake it, ‘ve masked it. So when I saw the facebook ads plastered on my timeline Instagram posts featuring the Sand & Sky mask I thought it was all marketing no substance, If you haven’t seen their ads, where have you been hiding? They have been everywhere & their marketing team needs a massive round of applause.
I left the product to gain some hype as I usually do, At £39.99 It’s not something I buy on a whim however when ASOS had their 20% off everything discount code I thought it was the perfect chance to try some new products out. My beloved Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin mask has completely run out and at £55 for a replacement, I thought I would See what all the fuss was about with this Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Face Maks.
What does the Sand & Sky Mask do?
DETOX: It purifies and tightens pores.
INVIGORATE: Organic Liquorice stimulates new cell production, while Old Man’s Weed tackles pigmentation clusters.
REFINE: Tightens pores & soothes after Detoxify + Brighten.
BRIGHTEN: The superstar combo of Kakadu plum and mangosteen work together creating a defence shield to leave skin clear.
The not secret ingredient is Australian Pink Clay (Kaolin, A natural clay which is often used in face masks and skincare) which draws out impurities, Brightens and tightens skin. I can honestly say it delivers on all three of these promises. Aloe Vera is high up in the ingredients list which explains why redness and inflammation of the skin are reduced over the 10 minutes the mask is on the face. Most clay masks contain 10-15% clay. The Sand & Sky masks content is 50% clay, which means more effective skin results. They use all organic and natural Australian ingredients & also source our ingredients sustainably and work closely with local authorities to meet their environmental regulations to ensure that there is as little disruption as possible.
They say you should get 15 used from each tub, however, I personally think that is being a little generous, so that being said I do think its a fairly expensive product for the amount you get, Would this put me off from repurchasing it? Probably not because I like the effect it has on my skin. I like the fact it comes with a little brush application to keep things hygienic & and think its a pretty effective, nifty product.
This mask was the first product they launched & since then have some on to launch further products in their range, I am now keen to give a few of the other products a try…
