The Ultimate Self-Tanner You HAVE To Try | Isle Of Paradise

I don’t know about you but I feel 100x better when I am tanned. For the past couple of years I have been tanning pretty religiously and on the hunt for the perfect product. Enter Isle Of Paradise (IOP). | 100% Vegan. Cruelty-Free. Organic.

Founded by the beautiful human that is Jules Von Hep (Follow him on Instagram, He is a total babe), Isle Of Paradise Are an absolute game-changer in the tanning market and something that you have to try for yourselves.  Jules is a celebrity tanning expert, lover of individuality, giver of glows, champion of body confidence and pioneer of feel-good vibes, He is also a northerner, need I say more…

IOP products are a combination of colour correcting & sunkissed glowy-ness in one bottle suitable for every skin colour.  If you are new to colour correcting it basically works like this…Opposite hues cancel each other out Green tones cancel redness, lilac targets yellow/sallow tones and peach universally brightens. I have a naturally pinky skin tone, I often get random red marks and my skin mottles easily, because of this I bought the Isle Of Paradise Medium (Green) Water. As well as the water formula, They also offer tanning drops which you can add to your normal moisturiser or a more traditional tanning mousse which is possibly my least preferred method although admittedly I haven’t tried the Isle Of Paradise mousse. I was after a tanning product that I could use all over my body and also use on my face without running the risk of a muddy looking face & having been a fan of Tan-Lux drops previously I fancied trying something different. I’m a lazy tanner & the Water is super easy to use, A match made in heaven you might say!

I know you are going to think I am exaggerating here but this is my hero product of 2018. Bold statement, but a fact is a fact and I have tried lots of tanning products and this trumps the lot. I kind of thought the colour correcting part of the product may have just been a bit waste of time but I really do notice a difference in the tone of my skin, And redness I have completely disappeared leaving me with an absolute cracking tan that gets me compliments left, right & centre. I have used this product a lot (I actually need another bottle) and I have never had any streaks, none! With it also being a spray water formula you can easily tan your back without completely contorting your body.

To apply, I spray a decent amount onto my clean, exfoliated leg/arm/stomach then gently rub in using a tanning mitt, for feet I tend to do a gentle spritz on each foot. When it comes to the hands I always tend to have them well moisturised, I then make a claw and spray the top of my hands from afar lightly covering them with the product. I then use a dry cotton pad just to grab the excess product from in between the fingers. The tanning water is brilliant to use on the face, I tend to spray each side & a centre spray for good measure. Dry for a few minutes and then get dressed. It’s really that simple.

Key Ingredients:

Coconut Oil:

This is really Hydrating for the skin and gives you added radiance.

Avocado Oil:

This is a great skin conditioning ingredient as Avocado Oil is high in Vitamin A & C. It penetrates this skin better than most other oils delivering hydration to the lower surfaces of the skin.

Chia Seed Oil:

one of nature’s richest vegetarian sources of omega 3 fatty acids. It has been proven to significantly improve skin hydration and maintain skin barrier function

Obviously, the proof is in the before & After photos, Are you ready, You are going to be impressed!

All of their products range between £15-£20, and for me, they are worth every single penny. When I wear tan I feel more confident, clothing looks better and It’s just great to be able to get undressed without looking like an uncooked marshmallow.
