I know its still technically Autumn, however, I feel the cold easily and skipped autumn fashion entirely and headed straight for last years winter wardrobe. I am secretly pleased, Winter is a bit of me. Chunky knits are my all-time favourite wardrobe essential and there are some beautiful pieces on the market at the moment, so I thought I would put together a collection of some of my winter favourites at the moment.
At this time of year, I live in skinny jeans, usually Black ones but often a mid wash looks great too. I like to have a few different pairs to add variety to my outfits. During the week I tend to wear standard skinny jeans (No rips). I usually opt for Levis Mile High Black Jeans and pair these with a chunky knit or a cashmere thinner jumper & a pair of ankle boots. At the weekend I like to look a little more ‘undone’ therefore the Ripped Joni jeans from Topshop are an absolute winner and fit perfectly. The super high waist looks great with a cropped knit not to mention sucking everything in.
I am loving beige knitwear, It looks great with a pair of black jeans and ankle boots, Chuck on my H&M Denim jacket and a chunky scarf and I am outta the door in a flash. I have the ASOS White 100% Cashmere jumper which I am a little obsessed with at the moment, however, I do have my eye on the gorgeous oversized chunky knit from & Other Stories. Its only a matter of time before I buckle and buy it!
What are your winter wardrobe essentials? I know I have a basic style but that feels right for me, but I am really open to suggestions on what you think I should add to my collection.
