Best Of British & Vegan Friendly | Ark Skincare Review

Protect. Defend. Defy. Ark Skincare is celebrating age and making skincare easier to navigate… Here is how.

The ARK Skincare range consists of three key age-specific product lines, Protect for teens & 20s, Defend for 30s & 40s, & Defy for those over 50. When I was asked to give this brand a try I was torn between the Protect range and the Defend. I’m in the last year of my 20’s so I thought I would cling onto my youth and go for the protect range.

Ark Skincare Age Protect Skin Clear Cleanser. £25

Specially formulated for teens and skin in its twenties, the soap-free cleanser is infused with oat amino acids to eliminate dirt, impurities and excess oil, without damaging the natural barrier. Enriched with watercress, nettle and horsetail to regulate oil and banish dryness, whilst antioxidant white tea protects from free radical damage and environmental aggressors to leave skin clean, comfortable and rejuvenated.

This gel-like formula is really quick and easy to use which is perfect for teens that can’t seem to dedicate a minute to their skin. I have been using this as a second cleanse in the evening and my only cleanse in the mornings. If you are looking to tackle your skincare in your early teens or twenties this is a great cleanser to start with.

Ark Skincare Age Protect Skin Vitality Moisturiser £35

Rich in antioxidants and an active anti-pollution system, it provides daily protection from the urban environment. Leaves your skin, clear, radiant and vibrant. Avocado and Peach Lipids are rich in Vitamins A, C and E as well as Omega 9 fatty acids which keep skin hydrated and soft. Olive Oil penetrates deep down into the skin to effectively hydrate and regenerate skin cells. Panthenol is a form of Vitamin B which soothes irritated skin and plumps fine lines.

One thing Ark has impressed me with the most is the packaging of their products. The Moisturisers are in a jar with an airless pump to dispense the right amount of product for the face and neck. the packaging is there to protect a product from spoiling, therefore, less wastage.

If you want to give a British skincare brand a try, Ark skincare has a range for all ages & skin concerns. Check them out
